Conditions

Sports injuries

For athletes of any age and level, and anyone hurt being active.

What we see

  • Ankle and knee sprains
  • Muscle strains, such as hamstring, groin and calf
  • Shoulder and elbow pain from throwing, lifting or racquet sports
  • Overuse problems that build up over weeks of training

How we approach it

We look at the injured area and at how the joints and muscles around it are moving. Treatment is hands-on soft tissue work and joint mobilization, one-on-one with Dr. Kaczmarek, plus what you can do at home. Getting back to your sport is planned in steps.

Signs you need urgent care

Go to urgent care or an emergency room right away for a joint that looks deformed, an injury you can't put any weight on, a possible broken bone, or a head injury.
